There may be some activities in your business where you need people to dress appropriately. It helps to define the expectations and give a name to each one so you can reference the clothing requirements and everyone will know what it means or be able to look it up.
Important note regarding clothing equality: The dress code should allow women to wear the same thing that men wear, while giving them the flexibility to wear a more feminine outfit if they desire it. The way we express that below is that all items listed can be worn by men or women, and some items are marked as women optional.

Ballroom attire:

Formal attire:
